This tooth has been loose for almost a month.  It came out all on its own, thankfully -- Daddy was threatening to pull it or knock it out...

We've been seeing a lot of our cousins recently.  And when there are lots of cousins together, there are lots of pictures of the cousins together.

Here we are at Sarah's bat mitzvah in October.

Here we are at Asher and Jack's first birthday party in November.

And here we are at Andrew's bar mitzvah last weekend.

PJ Playin' Time

We were playing around last night, after bath/shower time.  Lots of shrieking, laughing, and dragging around a large stuffed duck.

Where did the summer go?  I blinked and summer was gone.  Consider this the first post in a series to bring everyone up to speed on what's been happening since we went to Denver and San Francisco in June.

In August, Mommy and Daddy loaded us all up into the van and we drove up to Maine for a week vacation.  We've all been there before but this was my third trip.  And it's definitely the one that I'm going to remember most.

What did we do?  Well, we helped Uncle Jason build a campfire for 'smores...

... we posed for Daddy...

... we swam in the lake...

... we posed some more...

... and we ate on the deck with Grandpa Bill.

All in all, it was a great vacation.  Although I don't know that I want to do the drive again anytime soon :)

Aunt Judith

While we were in Denver last month, we took a trip to San Francisco to see Aunt Judith.  We were only there for a couple of days but we had lots of fun.  And we got to take some great pictures.

Colorado Rockies Game

Grandpa Joe and I and Daddy went to today's Colorado Rockies baseball game against the Washington Nationals.  I've been to a Rockies before -- when I was about 9 months old!  I definitely don't remember it.  This game I'll remember for a while.

I ate: one corn dog, french fries, nacho chips and cheese,  half of a funnel cake, a small fresh squeezed lemonade, and about half of a large fresh squeezed lemonade (boy, I sound like the very hungry caterpillar).  I got to meet Dinger, the Rockies' mascot.  Grandpa bought me a hat.  And I got my very own real baseball (it was tossed to someone to gave it to me).

My Book 2 Recital

Link to the video of my recital:

Today was my Book 2 party! It was over before I knew it. I invited 4 friends but only 3 came. Daddy videotaped me playing half of Book 2. My favorite part was walking down the stairs because it went so quick! We had M&Ms and Doritos afterwards. My favorite song I played was Bourrée because it sounded so graceful. I can start my half sized cello now! I want to finish at least Book 10!

Illumination 2013

The night before graduation at Oberlin College there is something called "Illumination."  Basically, there are lanterns hung all over Tappan Square and people hang out and have fun.  Our whole family went this year and had a blast.

First we rode our bikes in.  That's Mommy with Alice and Gabi in the trailer.

Mommy bought us all the glow-in-the-dark necklaces, so that it would be easy to find us and so that people would see us coming.

We had pie and ice cream.  Gabi didn't really like the lemon meringue that she picked out.

The highlight though was OB Jump.  They had jump ropes out and were letting people join in.

And Daddy's friend Tom's wife took some video of me.  You'll find it here.

Springtime (for the moment)

Spring officially started last week.  But those of you who are familiar with the weather in northern Ohio know that the weather doesn't always listen to the calendar.  It's quite nice now but who knows what Monday will bring (supposedly, it will be about 30 -- eek!).

Since it was warm today, we took the opportunity to get outside.

We're in the middle of Passover so I thought that I'd share some pictures of our seder.

Daddy made a brisket for dinner.  Quite yummy.

The seder plate that Mommy loves so much.

Mommy and I made matzah ball soup.  I got to put the matzah balls in the soup.

Here's what the soup looked like when it was ready to be served.

Gabi and Alice getting ready for the seder.

The highlight of Passover is matzah toffee.  So easy to make and so incredibly awesome.

Girl Scout Cookies: Attack of the Cookies

Girl Scout Cookies have arrived!  Thanks to Mommy and Daddy for helping out with their contacts, I sold 500 boxes of cookies this year.  I was the top seller of the troop.

This is what the van looked like when Mommy got home with the cookies.  500 boxes worked out to be about 45 cases.

 The proud cookie seller!

Where do you store all of these cookies?  In the garage, between the cars, of course!  Thank goodness it's cool outside or all of that chocolate would melt.

Brush with Fame, Part 2

Loyal readers of this blog will know that last September I met one of my favorite authors, Megan McDonald.  Last week, I met another famous person.  But you'll have to guess who it is.  Some clues:

He played a concert at Oberlin for the Artist Recital Series.  He's a cellist.

And he's got really awesome hair.

The answer?  Next post.
