The Counting Jar

My teacher in the Blue Room, Miss Rita, has a counting jar. Every week, a different student takes it home and fills it with things. Then it comes back to the Blue Room and we practice our counting during the week. You'll never guess what I chose when I had the counting jar.

That darned monkey--why did it have to have such a big head?

The finished product.

On Friday nights, Mommy and Daddy and I celebrate Shabbat. We light candles, sometimes have challah, and Mommy and Daddy have wine.

Thanks to my friend Larkin and her parents, I have my own Shabbat set. Now we can celebrate every day!

It's Fall, which means that it's time for apple pie. Grandma Arlene, Daddy, and I went to the source and picked the best apples for the bestest apple pie.

Checking out the apples--you have to have the best!

This was the first one I found.

Grandma Arlene carried the bag of apples--it was heavy!

This was the yummiest apple pie ever. I helped Daddy mix the apples with the cinnamon and sugar mixture.

The best part of the apple pie? Eating it, of course!
