Election Day, 2008

The 2008 Election was almost as old as I am -- Mommy and Daddy couldn't wait for it to be done. Daddy took me to vote with him that day, only to find that the line was almost an hour long. I was really bummed out; I even learned the word "vote" the day before. Oh well--I'll just have to wait another year to help Mommy and Daddy fulfill their Constitutional right.

And if you didn't know who I was going to support, here's a picture.

I just felt that Barack and Joe were more supportive of the toddler community. They listened to what we had to say, they promised not to cut federal subsidies for daycare centers, and their health care plan was just more appealing.

Some people grow up wanting to be a doctors. Others want to be a lawyer. Maybe astronaut or luggage handler at the airport (this is what Daddy wanted to do when he was little) sounds good to you.

I prefer something that you can practice all the time: chef. Here I am in action.

Halloween, Part 2

This is why no little girl should EVER let their father dress them. Check out the combination of green/white/pink hat, tan suede jacket, white t-shirt, blue skirt, purple polka dot tights, and brown shoes.

This year was the first time I had the chance to celebrate Halloween. Last year I was barely a year old and I couldn't walk. Now I'm much older and more mature, which means that I can do so much more.

Here's a picture of me in my pirate costume. My friend Kyra loaned it to me this year.

Mommy's favorite part of Halloween are Smarties. I've just finished feeding her a roll here:

This is my friend Elle. She's just learning how to walk but she's awfully cute as a bear.

What do you think I should be for Halloween next year? I'm going to ask Daddy to take me trick-or-treating so that I can get lots of really yummy candy.
