Rabbit Time

Peter Cottontail. Roger Rabbit. Brer Rabbit. The rabbit guarding the Cave of Kyre Banorg in Monty Python and the Holy Grail. All of these members of the order Lagomorpha have been made infamous through the years. But none of them are quite as fun and cuddly as my rabbit. And mine is so much more talented—look at what it can do.

My Chair

Grandma Gail and Grandpa Joe (also known as "Pop-pop") came to visit last weekend. They bought me a child's version of a Lazy-Boy recliner for my birthday. While I may not look super excited in these pictures, I LOVE this chair. It's the perfect size for me and a couple of my close friends: frog and kitty. It matches my coloring table. And I can move it around the house when I need to.

While Daddy's away, pt. 3

This week, Daddy's in New Jersey; here's our new game. I really like the blocks that Granny A and Grandpa B brought for me. The best part of all of these games are the videos Mommy makes. We watch them together and then make another. We can spend a whole 30 minutes doing this before Mommy gets bored with it. We do retakes, but no edits... My fabulous readers only get the best of the best!!!

761 Days and Counting

As most of you know, October 17 was my second birthday. Things are going well: I know all of my capital letters, I can count to 10 (although not necessarily in the right order), I'm speaking more and more, I've moved up rooms at day care (which means that potty training isn't too far away), and my smile is to die for.

My birthday was pretty fun. Everyone listened to Mommy and Daddy and didn't get me lots of presents because I have everything I need. I had my all-time favorite dinner: chicken nuggets, fish sticks, and peas. Here's dessert and my birthday celebration:

Chopin, Eat Your Heart Out

Frederic Chopin wrote a little-known piece called, "Sonata on C for One Finger." Here is my rendition of it.

While Daddy's away, pt. 2

So, we went to a pumpkin patch while Daddy was in Philly. My new Green-room friends (and their parents) took us to a corn maze (or, a maize maze--it was amazing!), a bouncy fort, a cool skeleton, a tractor ride, and small pumpkin shopping. Later Mommy drew faces on my pumpkin and I carry it all over the house!

Here I am in the maize maze. no dead ends for us wee ones!!!

This was my favorite thing. All of those pieces of paper were flying around inside the bubble.

I had a lot of fun taking pumpkins out and putting them back in. Even after we bought one, I wanted to put it back! But now since Mommy has decorated it, I'm so glad we took it home!

Here we are on the tractor ride. Evan, Kyra and me! (and Evan's Mommy, and Kyra's parents, and Kyra's little sister, and Mommy!)

Daddy's Gone, Pt 1

So, Mommy and I learn all sorts of new games while Daddy travels. This one developed while he was in Seattle.
