Leap Day

How did you celebrate February 29 this year? I played in Lake Oberlin, aka the pond in our backyard.

Girl Scout Cookie Time

You all know that I'm a Daisy Scout, loud and proud. Often we operate under a thick veil of secrecy. But last night, for the first time ever, cameras were allowed into the room as we distributed cookies and celebrated selling over 1000 cases as a troop.

I can't tell you too much about what we did - I'm sworn to secrecy. What I can say is that:

It was a pajama party.
There were lots of cookies there.
We played in empty cookie boxes.

Cookie boxes make good shoes.
There are cookies in our van.
Please don't ask me to say any more. I may have said too much already - if you don't hear from me for a while, you'll know why.

Finney Chapel Concert

I had a hot date tonight -- Daddy and I went to a concert in Finney Chapel. I got to wear my super favorite dress; Daddy went a little more casual. We only stayed for the first piece. It was pretty loud and I liked it. And I knew part of the piece from MusicPlay.

Winter is Here!

I am so happy -- it's finally snowed in Oberlin. And I've finally gotten to play out in the snow.

Ziggy's happy that there's someone to play with him. He likes it when I give him a snow blanket.

Grandma sat outside while I played on the play set. First I put snow on the slide...
...and then I slid down. Snow pants are a wonderful thing :)
